The Big Bang Theory Discusses Big City (& the first time I've ever been told I'm fat)

"You know, I'm given to understand that there is an entire city in Nevada designed specifically to help people like Howard forget their problems... and replace them with new problems, such as alcoholism, gambling addiction, and sexually-transmitted diseases." - Sheldon Cooper
{...oh my home town...}

Because sometimes there are nights where all you do is watch re-runs on TV, in your sweats and drink a glass (or two) of wine.

Especially when a co-worker tells you it looks like you have a baby bump right before you walk out of the office.

ESPECIALLY when it's just a bump. No baby in there. Just fat.

Someone bring me the corkscrew already.

  1. Wow that was so out of line. I take it this coworker was trying to mask their own insecurities by projecting because U are nowhere near fat dear!

  2. Girl - don't pay attention to your coworker. I agree with ^^ - she totally was just trying to make herself feel better!

    PS. BBT is amazing...I could watch it all day.

  3. Thank you ladies.

    Also, Meghan, it was a man. I feel like men should know better.

    But I think you are both right. logically. Emotionally, I am still hurt. :-/ I have gained 9 pounds since moving back to Big City in April (110 to 119) so I am probably sensitive already.

  4. If you weigh 119 pounds, I can't imagine that you look pregnant (unless you're like three feet tall). :) I remember one time when I went to the bank and the teller mistook me for another customer who was apparently pregnant. The teller started asking me how I was feeling and how the baby was doing. It was an honest mistake, but I was so paranoid after that!
