Welcome to a new week of Truth-Filled Thursday! I'd love to read how the Word of God has inspired you this week. Simply post a blog (or heck, even a tweet if you can fit it in that small) with the bible verse He's used in your life this week. The rules are the same as always - express his Word however you feel most inspired, be it simple text, a graphic or drawing. Include the button in your post. Then come back and add your post to this linky!
I was reading this morning and came across Psalm 101. The entire Psalm reads as a great way to follow the Lord and live life with purpose, integrity and faith. (Well, the last verse is a little extreme for me. But if I were a warrior king, I would get it.
I Will Walk with Integrity
1. I will sing of steadfast love and justice;
to you, O Lord, I will make music.
2 I will ponder the way that is blameless.
Oh when will you come to me?
I will walk with integrity of heart
within my house;
3 I will not set before my eyes
anything that is worthless.
I hate the work of those who fall away;
it shall not cling to me.
4 A perverse heart shall be far from me;
I will know nothing of evil.
Oh when will you come to me?
I will walk with integrity of heart
within my house;
3 I will not set before my eyes
anything that is worthless.
I hate the work of those who fall away;
it shall not cling to me.
4 A perverse heart shall be far from me;
I will know nothing of evil.
5 Whoever slanders his neighbor secretly
I will destroy.
Whoever has a haughty look and an arrogant heart
I will not endure.
I will destroy.
Whoever has a haughty look and an arrogant heart
I will not endure.
6 I will look with favor on the faithful in the land,
that they may dwell with me;
he who walks in the way that is blameless
shall minister to me.
that they may dwell with me;
he who walks in the way that is blameless
shall minister to me.
7 No one who practices deceit
shall dwell in my house;
no one who utters lies
shall continue before my eyes.
shall dwell in my house;
no one who utters lies
shall continue before my eyes.
8 Morning by morning I will destroy
all the wicked in the land,
cutting off all the evildoers
from the city of the Lord.
all the wicked in the land,
cutting off all the evildoers
from the city of the Lord.
--Proverbs 15:22

I love this little link-up! I feel like it allows me to connect in the word with you, even if it's just once a week! Our study group this time is sooooo quiet! I write every day to the group, but I barely hear from most of the girls. I miss you!
